Application Procedure
To get an admission in France, non EU students have to apply through the French embassy or consulate in their country.
Non EU students must apply through an online application system called CEF (Center for Studies in France).
Students can visit the website or they can visit the Campus France office in their country in person to create their account and register their profile through.
If a student is not going to apply for studies in his/her first or second year of a study program at university in France, they can apply directly to the institution of your choice.
Application procedure:
- International students who are from non EU countries need to visit the following website: http://www.admission-postbac.fr/
- Please note that applicants must undertake a personal interview.
- Download the application form from the website.
- Fill it and revert back with the documentation required. Transcripts must be provided by all the institutions.
- Along with these International students from non EU countries should provide a copy of their valid passport and a passport size photograph as well. If the course duration is more than three months, students need to submit the proof that they already obtained a Visa.
- Some colleges require essays to be written. If your choice of University has this, ensure that the essays you write will be up to the mark.
- Students need to show the evidence of their English proficiency through commonly accepted English tests like TOEFL and IELTS. These can be taken either online or printed. Note that these tests are not free of cost.
- An attested copy of birth certificate is also needed.
- Proof of enough funds to pay all the expenses and fees for college studies has to be submitted.
However few Universities have their own requirements for admissions along with the regular prerequisites.
